Brewstillery?

All of our customers are exploring new ways to drive traffic to their breweries, generate new sources of revenue, and appeal to a wider audience of consumers. For many, adding a distillery to the brewery (thus creating a brewstillery) is the answer to these challenges.

Good Wort Makes Good Spirits
As a brewery, you’ve got a head start on distilling. Not only do you already have the equipment for creating and fermenting the wash that’ll feed your still, but chance are you’re already brewing GOOD wort, and good wort produces better spirits. You’re already halfway to producing spirits!

If you’re considering this route, you most likely have some questions running through your mind:

  • What is the process for distilling and how is it different from brewing?
  • What other equipment will I need, and what can I use from my brewery?
  • Why should I consider adding a distillery?
  • Are there other safety or legal issues I need to consider?
  • How do I get started in learning more?

For answers to these questions, a good place to start is to view our webinar on Adding Distillation to Your Brewery, presented at the 2020 Virtual Brewers Conference and download the presentation.
