Heating Time Calculator
Determine the heating time in your electric HLT or brew kettle using Brewmation’s ultra-low watt density heating elements. In the kettle, the heating will start once the elements are submerged and the float switch is engaged. Estimates assume 100% power for fastest heat-up.
Power Setting Calculator for Electric Kettles
Determine the power setting (0-100%) required during the boil to achieve your target evaporation rate. A typical evaporation rate is 6-8% for a 60 minute boil. Enter total kettle power (kW), post-boil batch size, target evaporation rate, and total boil time.
Gladiator Keg Washer Calculations
Sanitizer Volume Calculator
Part A determines the amount of concentrated sanitizer required to achieve the concentration specified by your sanitizer’s manufacturer. The sanitizer is diluted as it is injected into the water during the sanitizer cycle. Part B calculates the total volume of mixed sanitizer solution needed for your cleaning session, based on the number of kegs, pump flow rates, and Full and Low Speed times configured in your Gladiator settings.
Water Calculation Procedure
On the System Menu screen is the Calculate Water Flow button. When engaged, it runs water into the keg washer for 30 seconds for you to collect the volume to calculate the proper sanitizer ratio. This is done by installing a hose on the drain line, with a keg connected to one of the Sankey couplers.
