The 5500W threaded heating element is a US-made, ultra-low-watt-density element built for tanks that do not have tri-clamp fittings. Installs into any standard 1″ stainless threaded port for direct heating of HLT or BK volumes.

Compatibility & Use
1″ stainless threaded fitment. Use with a junction box and a properly rated twist-lock cord. Match voltage to your circuit when ordering: a 6KW element rated for 240V will only deliver 4.5KW at 208V, and a 5.5KW element rated for 208V will deliver 7.3KW at 240V and overload a 30A circuit.
