Description
The 5500W ultra-low-watt-density tri-clamp heating element is manufactured in the US specifically for the brewing industry. The base is machined from 316 stainless into a tri-clamp fitting — no threads, no adapters. An extended dead zone immediately after the tri-clamp keeps the heating area inside the tank, not in the port.

Compatibility & Use
Drops into any tank with a matching tri-clamp port. The matching junction box is machined to fit the base and includes O-rings and mounting screws. When elements, junction boxes, and twist-lock cords are ordered together they ship pre-assembled. Match voltage to your circuit when ordering: a 6KW element rated for 240V will only deliver 4.5KW at 208V, and a 5.5KW element rated for 208V will deliver 7.3KW at 240V and overload a 30A circuit.
