Fermenters
Brewmation can supply a variety of fermenter solutions for your distillery operations. Choose a jacketed fermenter to keep the fermentation's temperature at the yeast's recommended setting for optimal yeast activity. Choose a non-jacketed fermenter if you can locate it in a cold room or if you are fermenting in small quantities. Keep in mind that larger fermentations (above 1bbl) will generate a large amount of heat while fermenting. Without a glycol cooled jacket, the wash's temperatures will raise above healthy yeast levels and can even kill the yeast.
We can also supply fermenters with heating and cooling jackets along with a mixing paddle. This allows you to create a mash or heat and mix syrups in the fermenter. You would then use the cold jacket to cool and maintain the wash to optimal yeast pitching temperatures.
